Michael Shanks (narrator of Local Custom)

Michael Shanks, a Canadian actor best known to U.S. audiences for his role as Dr. Daniel Jackson in Stargate, ventured into television and film after spending two years with the Stratford Shakspeare Festival. He has managed to take on numerous guest shots on other televison series and film whenever SG-1 has been on hiatus and seems to always be looking for work that presents a challenge. His work in Local Custom is a tour de force and has pleased both fans of the authors Sharon Lee & Steve Miller, and Michael’s fans, but also a multitude of audio book listeners who have experienced his special touch.

Ben Browder (narrator of Interlopers)

Ben Browder, born in Memphis, raised in Charlotte, graduated Furman University in South Carolina and then studied in London at London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. After having done a number of plays he moved on to film and television where he is best remembered for his work as Sam Brody in Party of Five and his starring roles as Commander John Crichton in Farscape and Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell in Stargate SG-1. His classic good looks belies his keen intellect which is a match for that of Alan Dean Foster, author of INTERLOPERS. He brings not only his prodigious skills as an actor but also a sharp understanding of the subject matter. His comedic timing is impressive and a facility for language that is unsurpassed.

James Marsters (narrator of The Dresden Files)

James Marsters, voice o The Dresden Files, is probably best known for his portrayal of Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Series. While he has acted in both film and television, it was his extensive theatre background that made him the perfect choice for the challenging job of bringing the multi-faceted Dresden Files to audio. Far from simply reading the novel aloud, James infuses the text with scenes that live and breathe. He has given each of the characters their own unique voices, revealing their personalities and motivations with his extraordinary acting talent while maintaining both the pace and direction of the stories.
